Citrix Secure Login Updates

As part of the continuing work to strengthen security for all UofM applications without disrupting user experience, ITS will be adding both Duo multi-factor authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) to the Citrix login process.

Duo MFA for Citrix

Beginning June 25, 2021, all UofM Citrix users must authenticate with Duo MFA at login.

Duo authentication for Citrix will function in the same manner as other Duo logins across the UofM environment. When a user enters their login credentials, they will be prompted to confirm their login using the Duo mobile app or by entering a bypass code.

SSO for Citrix

In a future phase, the Citrix application will transition to SSO login. Users will then log in with their UUID and password. This is the same login used to access resources such as Outlook 365, eCourseware or the myMemphis portal. Duo MFA will remain in place.
