Alumni Spotlights
The Department of Physics and Materials Science at the University of Memphis is proud of the graduates of their program. The profiles presented here provide examples of what lies behind the desire to study physics and what the experience of studying physics at the UofM is like. Finally, they present examples of how their interest in (and, in some cases, even passion for) physics and the education they received provided the foundations for exciting and fulfilling careers. All phases of their paths are often characterized by challenging problems and fascinating solutions, collaborations, and (usually) fun and humor.
