All University of Memphis faculty are invited to attend the 2022 Summer Institute occurring June 8-10. This year’s Institute, led by University Libraries’ UM3D team of instructional designers and technology trainers, is a three-day event comprised of both in person and remote informative sessions focused on understanding how key pedagogical principles, Canvas technology tools, and available resources impact course design, development, and delivery.
Registration is required. In person registration is limited to 30 participants with lunch provided.
Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions. Location: McWherter Library Instruction Room 225. One-on-one consultations are available to support specific questions and course development needs.

Schedule one on one 30 minute virtual consultations with UM3D Technology Trainers and Instructional Designers. Attendance in prior sessions is not required, but please schedule your consultation in advance.
Registration for consultations begins June 1, 2022.
Not sure who you need to meet with?
- Using Canvas tools, like gradebook, assignments, etc– meet with a Technology Trainer.
- Improving the instruction in your course or deciding which Canvas tool to use when– meet with an Instructional Designer.
