Spring Semester

  • ECON 8812: Econometrics III
  • An elective graduate course in Economics (offerings vary)
  • An elective graduate course in Computer Science or Mathematics

B. Academic Path

Fall Semester

  • ECON 7320: Advanced Macroeconomics (required)
  • Econ 7811: Econometrics II
  • One of the following courses:

Spring Semester

Please remember that only one elective course at the 6000 level can be counted towards the MA degree. The remaining courses must be at the 7000 level or above (see curriculum requirements).

Students on the Academic Path should consider taking additional math courses in the summer between Year 1 and Year 2.
