Fogelman Professor Interviewed by "Forbes Magazine"

Dr. Zabi Rezaee, professor of Accounting and Thomson-Hill Chair of Excellence, was recently interviewed by Jeff Thomson, editor of "Forbes Magazine," regarding the long-term goal and impact of sustainability initiatives.

The interview highlighted the importance of his book on business sustainability that was recently published by Greenleaf Publishing. The book and interview related to the recent Paris Climate Talks and businesses for embracing sustainability for strategic growth.

The interview concluded that business sustainability was about creating the right balance of short and long-term continuous improvement of both financial economic sustainability performance (ESP) and non-financial environmental, social and governance (ESG) sustainability performance. CFOs are playing an increasingly vital role in overall business strategy in integrating ESP and ESG sustainability performance dimensions into managerial decision making.
