Dr. Robin Poston is the new vice president of the AIS College of Academic Leadership

Dr. Robin Poston, professor and chair of the Department of Business Information and Technology, was recently selected to be the 2017 membership co-chair of Memphis' Society for Information Management (SIM) chapter. She will work alongside Jim Sanders who has extensive experience in IT management. As a membership chair, Dr. Poston has the task of finding innovative ways to influence membership growth, participation, and retention.

SIM membership provides national IT leaders with opportunities to network, use online tools, and access publications and other resources. The local SIM Memphis Chapter is a professional society of local IT leaders organized to share new IT ideas and techniques, projects and activities of local interest, innovative strategic planning and implementation approaches, and strengthen the status of IT professionals within the community.
