Big Win for Fogelman College of Business and Economics at SHRM Excellence Awards

MEMPHIS, TN – February 26, 2019. University of Memphis Fogelman College of Business and Economics came away with two wins at the 2019 Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Excellence Awards. FCBE also had two nominations for the Most Admired Organization and George Mabon Award.

Stephanie Hendrix, a recent graduate in the Professional MBA program, was named Student of the Year. Ms. Hendrix has accepted a Human Resource Manager's job at Autozone.

Tyler Stegall accepted the award of Human Resource Emerging Leader. Mr. Stegall is in a growth position in HR with the City of Memphis as Project Specialist. He is a current Professional MBA student, former SHRM Student Chapter President, and Team member of SHRM Competition Teams, 2017 and 2018.

FCBE Interim Dean Marla Stafford and Dr. Kathy Tuberville attended the awards. "We are extremely proud of our winners and nominees. These professionals are hard workers and demonstrate the dedication we have in developing the best talent for Memphis," said Dr. Kathy Tuberville, Director, Avron B. Fogelman Professional Development Center.
