A Crucial Conversation is a discussion between two or more people where the stakes are high, opinions vary,
and emotions run strong. Crucial Conversations® for Mastering Dialogue gives people
the skills to step into disagreement—rather than over or around it—and turn disagreement
into dialogue for improved relationships and results.
This is an eight-hour, interactive virtual class broken up into short segments over three consecutive days that will allow you to practice the concepts you learn.
Day 1: You will learn how to identify a crucial conversation, tips and tools to get unstuck when you encounter one, and how to take responsibility for your emotions by owning your stories.
Day 2: The second day takes a deeper dive into how to master your stories, and you will explore how to move a crucial conversation from selfish intent to collaborative.
Day 3: You will learn about a framework to help you share your views, opinions and stories in a way that encourages others to respond. In addition, you will learn how to have those conversations in a safe way where others can talk about almost anything. The session ends with discussing how you will use what you learned in the course.
Who Should Attend
Leaders at all levels (individual contributors and management) will benefit from this course. If you are having any conversations at all where you want to get results, you will learn valuable concepts that you can use immediately in your daily role.
