Overview

A Crucial Conversation is a discussion between two or more people where the stakes are high, opinions vary, and emotions run strong. Crucial Conversations® for Mastering Dialogue gives people the skills to step into disagreement—rather than over or around it—and turn disagreement into dialogue for improved relationships and results.

This is an eight-hour, interactive virtual class broken up into short segments over three consecutive days that will allow you to practice the concepts you learn.

Objectives

Day 1:  You will learn how to identify a crucial conversation, tips and tools to get unstuck when you encounter one, and how to take responsibility for your emotions by owning your stories.

Day 2: The second day takes a deeper dive into how to master your stories, and you will explore how to move a crucial conversation from selfish intent to collaborative.

Day 3: You will learn about a framework to help you share your views, opinions and stories in a way that encourages others to respond. In addition, you will learn how to have those conversations in a safe way where others can talk about almost anything. The session ends with discussing how you will use what you learned in the course.
