Companies like Oculus and High Tech Computer Corporation (HTC) are making Virtual Reality usable by anyone - this workshop will teach you how to make content for everyone.
A collaboration with the FedEx Institute of Technology Virtual Reality (VR) Lab, DRONES Research Cluster Team Members, and Memphis Game Developers, this two day course focuses on Unity development in a 3-D environment.
In this course you will learn the principles of Virtual Reality (VR) world development, implementation strategies in environments for platforms such as Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, and others. The course is especially useful for professionals looking to bring VR to their industry.
Some coding experience is a plus (Python, Javascript, C#, etc) but not required.

All trainings are NONREFUNDABLE within 14 days of the training’s scheduled start date. Attendees who wish to cancel within the 14-day nonrefundable period will need to

cannot possibly attend, as they will still be liable for payment in full.

The FedEx Institute of Technology (FIT) is located on The University of Memphis campus on 365 Fogelman Drive. Fogelman Drive is located off Central Avenue. We are right across from the Fogelman Executive Center Parking garage.
When you turn onto Fogelman Drive, you will see the parking garage on the left, and the FedEx Institute of Technology will be on the right.
The Fogelman Executive Center is located across the street from the FedEx Institute and is the closest hotel. Free shuttle service to and from Memphis International Airport is included.
