Scholarships

The Department of Journalism and Strategic Media distributes more than $25,000 in scholarships every spring during the Annual Awards Banquet. Scholarships have been established by donors who wish to give back to the Department and the University of Memphis and are sometimes targeted to students in the four majors in the department—advertising, journalism, public relations. Scholarships are listed in the University's online scholarship manager and are open for applicants in late in the fall semester and early spring semester.
