Take these steps for a successful registration:

• Check the Dates and Deadlines calendar for your earliest registration dates.
• Check your Registration Status screen in the portal prior to your registration time.
• Take care of any holds that will prevent registration.
• Schedule an appointment now with your advisor in the myMemphis portal if you have not met. (Find your advisor here.) 
• Register as early as possible for best course selection.
• Pay on time to avoid late payment penalties. Payment dates are found on University & Student Business Services calendars. 
• Registration issues? Put in a TigerHelp ticket for help from the Registrar's Office.
• Find out FAFSA information from the Financial Aid Office or put in a TigerHelp ticket for Financial Aid assistance.
• Please review your Annual Notification of Student Rights Under FERPA as well as other Student Right to Know Information.

• myMemphis portal - The myMemphis portal is the hub for registration, financial aid, and critical information. 
• UofM email - Check this daily! The UofM email account is the official method of communication from service areas at UofM and accessible in myMemphis.
• Navigate - Schedule your appointment with your advisor and locate helpful tools for success. Navigate can be accessed in myMemphis.
• TigerHelp tickets - Enter a ticket for help with financial aid, payments, scholarships, and registration at https://www.memphis.edu/tigerhelp.
• Pouncer Chat - Pouncer Chat is a chatbot found in the myMemphis portal and is programmed to answer frequently asked questions, 24/7.
• Your cell phone number - Do we have your correct cell phone number? Are you missing texts from us? Go to the myMemphis portal, My Information to update.
