Making a Case for Change
It’s often lamented but true that the only constant is change. COVID-19 reinforced
the need for organizations to not only be reactive to change but be proactive in preparing
for, planning for, and instituting change. A critical skill-set for emergent business
leaders is to effectively present the business case for change. This broad skill set
includes competencies such as understanding the nature of change, assessing readiness
for change, identifying champions and sponsors, creating and communicating a vision
for success and building and presenting the business case. Note: this is a 2-day workshop (4-hour block each day).

Part I: Master the Basics of Negotiation
Negotiation is a valued skill for leaders. In the workplace, negotiation is more than
just about “winning” or achieving victory in a business transaction. Negotiation helps

Leaders who only get things done through the exercise of authority are less effective
than those who seek to understand others’ interests and influence people through skillful
negotiation. In this interactive class, you will explore your assumptions about negotiation,
identify various negotiation styles, assess your approach to negotiation, learn proven
