Call for Papers
We invite paper and presentation submissions from independent scholars, graduate students, teachers, librarians, museum professionals and all who practice history. Contributions from all subject areas, approaches and methodologies are encouraged. While we have identified session topics, we will assign other papers to the most appropriate session. We seek to inspire meaningful dialogue among these practitioners with the goal of exploring new approaches to our discipline. In so doing, we hope to make the public more aware of the importance of history. As in previous conferences, the TCH will provide a collegial forum for us to present and discuss our work.
Please submit a one-page proposal for a 20-minute presentation by September 13, 2021. Complete panel proposals are welcome. Conference organizers also welcome anyone who would like to serve as panel chairs, commentators or on program committees. Thank you for your interest and support of the 2021 Tennessee Conference of Historians.
