Museum Rules

 

1. Objects and cases should never be touched.

2. No food, beverages or smoking/vaping is permitted in the museum.

3. Briefcases, shopping bags, umbrellas, backpacks, and other bulky items should be checked at the front desk.

4. Photography is always prohibited in Ancient Egyptian Collection. You are allowed to take photos in every other part of the museum.

5. Notes should be taken with pencils only.

Please note the following parking advice: Parking is free Fridays after 4:00pm and on weekends in the Central Avenue parking lot. The parking garage is three dollars per hour and incurs a fee up to 15 dollars per day. To enter the Central Avenue lot, press the intercom at the gate or call (901) 678-4338 from a cell phone to be allowed entry.
