Tenure and Promotion
In CCFA, each department, school and faculty member is actively engaged in quality teaching, research and responsible service. We evaluate candidates for tenure and promotion based on how these areas are naturally integrated into the candidate's professional profile. We also consider the candidate's ability to interact appropriately with others through feedback from students, peers, administrators and outside evaluators.
The Tenure and Promotion process begins with the Third-Year Review, which provides an assessment of the candidate's teaching, service and research or creative activities to indicate areas for growth.
To prepare, please read all departmental, College and University Tenure and Promotion policies.
