The Future is Bright

The University of Memphis recently obtained status as an R1 research institution. As part of our recently launched strategic plan, the university is exploring high-potential opportunities for growth in the areas of agtech, food systems, regenerative agriculture, sustainability, and urban agriculture.

We seek to discover innovative solutions to reducing greenhouse gasses, restoring soil resiliency, protecting nature, increasing workforce diversity, and addressing food insecurity.
