• Bill Shaltis was named the Helen and Scott Carter Principal Timpani Chair of the Boise Baroque Orchestra.

2020

• Bill Shaltis was invited to present a solo recital at the College Music Society Southern Conference in Nashville, TN.
• Bill Shaltis presented a timpani FUNdamentals clinic virtually at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention 2020. The clinic focused on timpani roll mechanics, sound production strategies, and interpretation.

2019

• Bill Shaltis received a TOUR Grant with the Tennessee Arts Commission to host the Jerry Tachoir Group at the University of Memphis.
