Kirby Gross

I am vaccinated because I trust science. Significant research and clinical trials have proven that vaccines are safe and effective in preventing disease. By getting vaccinated, we can save lives and stop the spread of COVID-19.

I chose to get the vaccine to protect those around me. As a public health student, I understand how deadly the virus can be, especially for the immunocompromised and how important it is for everyone to follow the guidelines in order to stop it from spreading.

"I chose to get the vaccine because as a trained healthcare professional, I believe in the science of this vaccine. My experience as a critical care nurse has shown me how tragic serious respiratory illnesses can be and I believe the vaccine helps prevent serious illness."

- Ashley Rosen, (RN, BSN)

"I got vaccinated in order to protect the people in the community around me who are more susceptible to complications form COVID-19 such as those who are immunocompromised or elderly. I hope that by doing so people can interact and go about their daily lives in a way that they feel safe."

"As a health professional working at a hospital I knew first hand how important the vaccine is to increase my own immunity to be able to be there to treat more patients.  I got the covid vaccine in order to stop the transmission through me to vulnerable people around me that includes my family, my patients, my fellow health care staff and especially children, adults above 65 years of age and patients with compromised immunity."

“I got the COVID vaccine in January to protect my family! Because my brother is in a high risk population, I do all I can to minimize his exposure and keep us both safe and healthy.”
