Kiran is a doctoral student in the Health Systems Management and Policy division. He is a medical doctor with 24 years of health sector experience ranging across primary care practice, occupational health, and global health management consulting. He has worked in 31 countries for USAID, UN, and several international health organizations. His research interest areas in health policy and health systems strengthening are – 1) Effect of quality-based reimbursement on the service delivery in safety net hospitals; 2) Racial disparities in health care access; and 3) Operational challenges in 'Health in All Policies' initiative.
