Single Sign-On (SSO)

Service Description:

Single Sign-On allows users to access technology resources and services across University systems using a single UUID and password. SSO is centrally maintained to provide both SAML- and CAS-compliant authentication services that limit reuse and exposure to user credentials by multiple services.

Who may request (or are eligible) for this service?

Any account holder can access services for which they are authorized using SSO. Requests to add services to SSO can be made by Local Service Providers and ITS Staff.

How to Request Service?

To access services via SSO, enter your UUID and password on the appropriate login page. SSO pages should always begin with "https://sso.memphis.edu/". To request SSO integration for services, submit an online service request.

What Information is Needed to Fulfill the Service Request?

To access services via SSO, only a UUID and password are required. To request SSO integration, include the name of the service, the current URL used to access the service and links to any relevant SSO integration documentation, if available.
