How do I change my email address or how my name is displayed when I send emails? (Preferred Email)

Service Description: 

The preferred email address option allows users to select a more convenient preferred email address (such as FirstName.LastName@memphis.edu). The UUID will remain as the primary email address, but users can choose to send and receive email at the preferred address. Options for preferred email name are generated based on a user's legal name as listed in the UofM systems.

Who may request (or are eligible) for this service? 

Requests can be made by University account holders.

How to Request Service?

Please visit the iAM website. After login, click "Email and Account Settings" and select the desired service. You may then select a preferred email from the options provided. If you need assistance, submit a service request or contact the ITS Service Desk at umtech@memphis.edu or 901.678.8888.

What Information Do I Need to Fulfill the Service Request?  

When completing the service request, select your new preferred email name from the provided options.
