Service Description: 

A VA Deferment is a request to defer payment of Tuition and fees until the end of the term. You make a request for VA Deferment letter through the Veterans Educational Benefits & Certification Office (003 Wilder Tower). This will be done after you register for classes and complete a Veterans Request for Certification form. 

Who may request (or are eligible) for this service? 

Requests can be made by those who are eligible for and receiving VA educational assistance benefits. The people are service members, veterans, and dependents of veterans.

How to Request Service?

To request a deferment login. To request assistance, please submit an online service request. 

What Information is Needed to Fulfill the Service Request?  

Enter 'Veterans Affairs Deferment Certification' followed by a brief description of your request in the Brief Description field and enter a thorough description of your request or issue in the Details field. You can also add attachments if necessary. The more information that you can provide here, the faster and more accurately your ticket can be routed to the appropriate resource.
