Newly established in spring 2009 on the campus of the University of Memphis, the West Tennessee Center of the Japan America Society of TN (JAST) hopes to promote awareness and understanding of Japan in Memphis and the surrounding areas through cultural events, business seminars, research, workshops, and various educational programs.
