Course Overview

Agile was created by developers for developers as a means of speeding up what was previously a milestone-driven, laborious and slow approach to delivering software. Agile stresses individuals and interactions over processes and tools, working software over comprehensive documentation, customer collaboration over contract negotiation and responding to change over following a plan – all well and good and in many cases this does help teams deliver software fast. But does this help teams deliver what people – customers, end users, and internal users – want and need? Does it ultimately achieve the valuable outcomes your organization seeks?

This course will help you understand the basics of User Experience (UX) Design, the roles and activities involved, the value it brings to development effort and it's place in Agile/SAFe practices including how UX fix into Scrum teams and their standard ceremonies. You will experience how products produce better outcomes when designed with user input throughout. And you'll get practical hands-on experience with user-centric design methods to gain greater insight into the practice and value of UX Design to help teams and enterprises deliver products that customer need and want to use, resulting in achieving business value goals.
