What's a UUID? (Universal User ID—UUID)

Service Description: 

The Universal User ID (UUID) is the username shared among various university services. Your UUID forms your email address as follows: For the student, the UUID is created upon admission to the University. For new staff and faculty, the UUID is created upon hire.

Who Can Request (or is eligible for) this Service? 

UUIDs are computer generated. Currently, the University does not honor requests for changes to a UUID.

How to Request Service?

UUIDs are established by becoming or reestablishing your affiliation with the University. To do this, you will need to contact the respective department that will endorse your request. 

What Information Is Needed to Fulfill Service Request?  

Whether you are new or returning to the University, the Universal User ID (UUID) is automatically generated. Just submit the proper departmental forms.
