Educational Careers Concentration
The Educational Careers concentration is part of the Integrative Studies Major in the Department of Instruction and Curriculum Leadership>.
The Integrative Studies Educational Careers concentration, a non-licensure concentration, does not require admittance to the Teacher Education Program (TEP), It does, however, require a 2.25 grade point average, C- or better in all courses in the major, and 45 upper-division hours for graduation. This concentration is designed for undergraduates who wish to work in the schools with students in a non- teaching role. This concentration will prepare students to become behavior specialists, registered behavior technicians (RBT®), paraprofessionals, and educational assistants. This degree also equips a student with content knowledge desired for a Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT), and/or a related field.
