Project Approval
At the start of the semester your will need to produce and submit a Project Proposal Memo (updated 9/2/22) and a completed Project Approval Form (some instructors will do approvals via an on-line system....check with your instructor).
Engineering Notebook
You are expected to keep a Engineering Notebook for the duration of the project. Your notebook will be checked periodically. See Engineering Notebooks Q&A for more information (including expected content).
Senior Core Test

We will have a review session prior to the test since it may have been some time since the freshman courses. It is your responsibility to review coursework from each of the listed class. You must pass the test with a minimum of 60% to pass the class. You will be permitted to retest if necessary.
Proposal Presentation
This will be a formal presentation to your classmates, student body and faculty and should be a brief and concise outline of your project and the planned implementation.
Written Proposal
This is a comprehensive written proposal, not a memo. The final project will be an extensive document. It will form the basis for your work on the project itself, define the scope of your project, and define the measures of success that will be used in evaluating your final project in TECH 4945. Download the Project Proposal Guide and Project Proposal Template for more information.

If you are in doubt whether a change is significant enough to require this, consult the course instructor.
