Add-on Endorsement to an Existing License

The University of Memphis can assist candidates holding an active Tennessee teaching license to add other endorsements. Some endorsements may be added to an initial license by a test-only option. Additional information for the Tennessee Department of Education including the Endorsement Flexibility and Additional Endorsements Form can be found here>.

For endorsements that cannot be added by the test-only option, please email Ms. Lanier (mlanier@memphis.edu) for information.

After successfully completing coursework and passing Praxis exam(s), candidates must complete the Add-On Endorsement Teaching License application> and submit official transcript to Ms. Lanier.
