We are pleased to announce that University of Memphis School of Law will participate in the CourtCall Law School Awards program for 2019-20. Memphis Law also participated in 2018, with two students, Escarlet Escobar and Tanisha Johnson, winning the respective awards.
CourtCall will present two graduating students with an award of $250 each for excellence in advocacy. Students who are interested in applying for the CourtCall Award should provide a statement of interest and any other supporting documentation (resume, transcript) to Director of Advocacy Barbara Kritchevsky, focusing on the following criteria:
1. Excellence in moot court and/or mock trial competitions;
2. Outstanding service to the Moot Court Board;
3. Outstanding performance in Advocacy courses (Appellate Advocacy, Trial Advocacy, etc.).
A call for applications will be sent to students in late March, 2020. The call for applications will set a precise deadline, tentatively April 1, 2020.
