"Best Note Awards" Announced at Law Review Banquet

Members of the University of Memphis Law Review sacrificed an evening of editing and citation-checking to hold their annual banquet at the River Inn on Mud Island. As the sun set over the Mississippi River, the banquet honored and celebrated the graduating editorial board and staffers of Volume 49 and welcomed the incoming members of Volume 50.

The 2019 "Best Note Awards" were announced at the banquet. Each award recipient received a small honorarium and a framed cover of the law review issue in which their note was published. Whitney Robinson, the outgoing editor-in-chief received the overall Best Note Award, while senior staff member Matthew Jehl and Symposium Editor Sean O'Brien received awards as runners-up.

Congratulations and thanks to all of the graduating members of Volume 49 for their outstanding work throughout the year and welcome to the incoming board and staffers of Volume 50!
