The University of Memphis Counseling Center provides free counseling, wellness, and psychiatric services (for uninsured students) for University of Memphis students, including law students.
On Monday afternoons (beginning February 24), from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Dr. Lisa Winborn will be available for counseling services at the law school. Every Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dr. David Deason provides counseling services at the law school.
Initial appointments are available by calling the University Counseling Center at 901-678-2068. Recurring appointments can be made directly with Dr. Deason or Dr. Winborn during your visit.
Counseling services will continue to be available to law students at the University Counseling Center if you prefer. The Counseling Center is located on the main campus in Room 214, Wilder Tower. If you want to take advantage of the free parking for the Counseling Center, you should park in the Zach Curlin garage, attend your counseling appointment or meeting, and request a single-use parking voucher at the end of the session. Each voucher can be used one time to exit the Zach Curlin parking garage with no charge.
At this time, the single-use vouchers are only available for students using the Counseling Center.
