3+3 PROGRAMS

Memphis Law has several "3+3 Programs," which are partnerships between the law school and various other colleges within the University of Memphis or external University undergraduate programs, that allow students to earn an undergraduate degree and a law degree in six years, saving a full year of time and tuition.

The different 3+3 Programs are:

3+3 Accelerated Legal Studies Program

The Legal Studies 3+3 Program is a partnership between the College of Professional and Liberal Studies (CPLS) and the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Its aim is to allow eligible UofM students to earn a bachelor's degree and a law degree in six years, saving a full year of time and tuition. Click here for more information.

3+3 Accelerated BA/JD Program

The 3+3 Accelerated BA/JD program allows students to complete their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy and juris doctor (JD) degree in six years instead of the typical seven. Undergraduate scholarships will apply to the senior year of the BA/first year of the JD program. Click here to learn more.

3+3 Law Degree with Austin Peay State University

The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law has established an agreement with Austin Peay State University's (APSU) Department of Political Science and Public Management in the College of Human and Behavioral Sciences to provide a six-year path to obtain a law degree.
