Human Subjects Research(IRB)
The Institutional Review Board (IRB) is an administrative body established to protect the rights and welfare of human subject volunteers participating in research.

Financial Conflict of Interest
University employee responsible for the design, conduct, or reporting of a sponsored project at the University must disclose significant personal financial interests related to the Investigator's institutional responsibilities
Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC)
The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) is a federally regulated committee that oversees the University's Animal Care and Use program including facilities, and procedures. It provides a framework for compliance with federal policies, guidelines and principles related to the use of animals in research, teaching and testing.
Export Controls
Export Controls regulate the shipment or transfer, by whatever means, of controlled items, software, technology, or services out of U.S. (termed an "Export").
Responsible Conduct of Research
To promote a campus-wide environment of responsible conduct for research complying
with requirements from funding agencies such as the National Institutes of Health
(NIH), National and Science Foundation (NSF), responsible conduct of research training
is available to the entire University of Memphis community.
Online training in the Responsible Conduct of Research is available through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI). Faculty and students may register at CITI as a person affiliated with the University of Memphis. If you are a new user, click on the Register button under "Create an account"; otherwise, login and select the Responsible Conduct of Research course of six modules.
